A Suede “Copper Moon” Casts Over The Nike Air Force 1 Low

The swirl of competing Nike retros we’re tracking at any time sometimes makes it refreshing to return to the staples. While elsewhere in Beaverton, the Nike Air Max 95, Jordan 5 and Air Max 1 have been busy issuing new looks to capitalize on brand holidays and anniversaries, the Air Force 1 carries none of those frills. Instead, it’s par for the course for sensible new options of Bruce Kilgore’s design to line the shelves, again the case with the Nike Air Force 1 Low “Copper Moon” featured today.

Deep contrasted tones of “Copper Moon” and “Flat Pewter” deliver a hearty dose of refined design, leaning into a more high-brow atmosphere than the shoe’s streetwear history. An additional indication of this is the material choices, going from tumbled leather in the front half of the shoe to textured suede across the heel counter, Swoosh and heel cup. To round out, a faux-aged midsole arrives underfoot, the cherry on top of a shoe that meets vintage trendiness on its home turf.

As a general release product, the Nike Air Force 1 Low “Copper Moon” will likely pop up on Nike.com and partnering retailer sites sometime in the coming weeks, likely linked to the Summer 2025 calendar. Be ready for a sticker price in the region of $125.
