The Nike SB Leo Surfaces In “University Gold”

Hitting skate shops for Summer 2025.

Leo Baker’s signature skate shoe might not get a lot of attention compared to the rest of the Nike SB catalog, but it’s still managed to find success since debuting in 2023.

The SB Leo packs modern tech into a retro-inspired build, champion a familiar aesthetic while supporting skaters’ needs. Versatile colorways have been the motto thus far, and that’s continued with a “University Gold” edition for Summer 2025.

Protective suede panels host the titular color, accompanied by dark grey hits on the Swoosh and outsole. Textured satin fabric peeks through the quarter window and collar, matched by a perforated white leather toe box. As for performance, the SB Leo comes with a vulcanized cupsole and Nike React midsole for grip, board feel, and impact protection.

The “University Gold” SB Leo will start showing up at skate shops in April-June, carrying a $95 box price. See official images below if you’re moved to cop.
