Nike’s Kobe offerings are as widespread as they’ve ever been. Branching out from just signature shoes into wide-ranging product like baseball jerseys and football cleats, Beaverton clearly has plans to expand the Sheath franchise even further, with the Kobe 6 “Dodgers” colorway offering an opportunity to venture into the lifestyle space. The Kobe Slides that surfaced as a part of that rollout now take on a new angle, revealed in all-white for kids.
Of course, anything “Triple White” with Kobe’s name associated evokes the “Halo” colorway, a fitting label to attach to the grade school and preschool offerings featured here. The ringed foam interior of the inline silhouette extends into this new lean as the Nike Kobe Kava, delivered with a scaly strap bearing the iconic tri-tip logo of the late legend.
While shifting onto a new model is worth mentioning, note that this doesn’t appear to mark a shift in strategy from the Dodgers Kobe Slide we recently reported on. Crucially, the Offcourt has never been issued in kids’ sizing, nor has the Kava been issued for adults, meaning any full size runs will branch across these two distinct products.
Look for the Nike Kobe Kava Slide in grade school and preschool sizing landing in the coming months, perhaps tied to some of the upcoming Kobe releases scheduled later in 2025. Retail is set at $28 for GS pairs and $23 for PS.
