END Celebrates 20 Years On The Salomon XT-6 “Emerald”

Especially in an era where seemingly every other week a treasured retailer is exiting the space, milestone anniversaries are all the more reason for celebration. Since their inaugural collab in 2022, END and Salomon have each been among each other’s most reliable collaborators, making another stop in their relationship fitting as the UK retailer celebrates 20 years. In accordance, the two are introducing the END Salomon XT-6 “Emerald,” queued up for March 28th.

At first glance, the dominant metallic shades present through the upper makes it hard to discern this shoe from mainline counterparts. However, that’s proof of the understated angle that END takes in this special edition. Those steely tones are representative of platinum, a traditional 20th anniversary gift, while the viridescent tones that peek through on the branding tag, jagged embroidery underlining the eyestays, and on the outsole deliver the titular “Emerald,” equally a customary choice for the occasion. In closing out the outdoor themes and their shared European ties, the two brands leverage Northern Ireland’s Emerald Isles for some tasteful campaign shots, its most lasting imagery serendipitously lining up with the shoe’s overall palette.

The END Salomon XT-6 “Emerald” releases on March 28th via END stores and their online channels, retailing for €195 / £165 / $195. Check out official shots embedded below.
