We’re still sorting through the beast that is 2025 Jordan Releases, but if some of the seismic pairs on tap haven’t quite scratched the itch for you, perhaps what’s shaping up to be an equally totemic 2026 will. The Air Jordan 13 “True Red” is the latest pair to be added to the 41st year of the Jumpman, queued up for Spring 2026.
It’s a somewhat bittersweet announcement in that this “True Red” drop replaces previous reports of the “He Got Game” making its way back to shelves. If it’s any consolation, the “True Red” / “Cherry” is perhaps the only colorway in the Air Jordan 13 lineage that surpasses that Spike Lee-approved edition, the shoe at hand also worn during a championship year for the Bulls and sported during now-iconic photos of the established MJ versus young buck Kobe Bryant.

While some may decry this extremely far-in-advance news, it adds to the budding picture we have of the brand’s 2026 plans. With editions like the with coveted editions like the Air Jordan 6 “Infrared” and Air Jordan 5 “Wolf Grey” already tipped off, there’s a growing sense that the OG-minded release strategy that the Jumpman has undergone in 2025 may not simply be limited to the 40th anniversary, instead taking hold as a more long-term goal. Of course, there’s an equal chance that only the most notable pairs are coming out so far ahead of time, but either way, it’s shaping up to be an expensive slate once again.
As mentioned, current reports have the Air Jordan 13 “True Red” landing in Spring 2025. Retail pricing isn’t known at this juncture. As the release grows closer, we’ll continue to update both this page and our Jordan Release Dates hub with more concrete details.
