While it certainly expands every sneakerheads’ arsenal into breezier fare, warmer weather has a tendency of snipping some of the stuffier options right out of the rotation along with it. Perhaps your go-to leather AIr Force 1s aren’t as suitable a choice when the forecast creeps over 80, but as always, Nike is thinking one step ahead. A mesh-laden Air Force 1 Low in “Coconut Milk” is looming for release in the coming months.
The tangible chance sits front and center on this colorway, pasted atop the tongue, quarter and toe-box panels with an open-knit, diamond mesh. On top of the breezier hardware on this Air Force 1 Low, the “Coconut Milk” and “Canyon Gold” shading results in a refined, aged energy circulating through the shoe as a whole. Pair that with the cracked “Light British Tan” Swoosh with golden contrast stitching for a take on the streetwear staple that aims for a more luxurious lean. It remains to be seen whether this particular make-up will become a staple in the catalog as 2025 develops, but even as a one-off, it offers all the timeless appeal AF1 lovers are familiar with, simply retooled to better befit a new season.
The Nike Air Force 1 Low “Coconut Milk” should be landing on Nike.com and via partnering retailers in the near future. Whether the new touches will result in a premium on the typical retail price is unclear at the time of writing, but it’ll go up from the model’s usual $125 MSRP if it does.
