The run of the Jordan Nu Retro 1 proper has been a complicated one, to say the least, often landing in the sale section after muted public response. However, always willing to repurpose and reimagine their product, the Jumpman team has since shifted the reinterpretation of Mike’s first signature to be a frequent face in their golf vertical. As the climate becomes more suited to rounds of 18 again, the Jordan Nu Retro 1 Golf appears with an intriguing application of camo patterns.

Striking the silhouette apart from attempts to replicate the Jordan 1‘s street sensibilities and as a new offering entirely is unquestionably part of why the silhouette has fared better on the links. The colorway at hand showcases why that’s succeeded, executing a rather seamless thread between traditional cleaned-up golf sensibilities and streetwear bonafides. It’s not quite a derby, but the sleek paneling and allusion to the Wings logo execute the refined nature of golf shoes while maintaining the Jordan 1 shape all the same. Spiked traction underfoot guarantees performance to round things out.
