We knew that 2025 would be a huge year for Air Max 95 before January, but few could have predicted how extensively the Beaverton brand is celebrating the model’s 30th anniversary. The next few months alone will see more collabs by Corteiz and A Ma Maniére, another “Neon” Air Max 95 retro, and additional big bubble pairs that play off the beloved OG gradient. We’re also getting a handful of non-gradient big bubble releases, this “Black/Persian Violet” colorway being the latest to surface via official images.
Here we have an edgy black leather design featuring a slew of tasteful accents, led by “Persian Violet” contrast stitching on the Swoosh and sidewalls. More “Persian Violet” hits appear underfoot, with the titular hue settling on the outsole and seamed big bubble Air units. The spine and tongue tag introduce splashes of “Wolf Grey” to the mix, adding some more contrast to the stealthy delivery. Notably, Nike is also coming out with a “Michigan” Air Max 95 that features a similar all-leather build.
