The Air Jordan 1 Low Wears A Canadian Tuxedo

Denim on denim is in, and Jordan Brand just dressed its Air Jordan 1 Low fully covered in the All-American fabric. Despite the “Canadian tuxedo” moniker suggesting it had origins up north, it was actually American star Bing Crosby who made the outfit infamous when he was refused entry into a hotel in Vancouver for wearing the casual look.

But, we digress. Denim is truly a global staple, and the Air Jordan 1 Low perfect the blocking by adding in multiple shades of the textured material. At the fore-foot and lace collar, you’ll see the lightest wash of the three. The ankle and heel get a bit more classic with the blue jeans look, while the Swoosh completes the formula with the darkest shade to match the interior lining and the outsole. Golden threading can be see across the entire upper, fixing the denim onto the white leather base.

With the warmer months ahead and daily fashion skewing to a classic t-shirt and jeans look, this Air Jordan 1 Low could not have surfaced at a better time. You can find these soon on Nike.com for $125, not far from the release of the Air Jordan 4 “Denim”. Take a gander at our Jordan Release Dates for the latest.
