More and more big bubble Air Max 95s are continuing to emerge as part of the model’s 30th anniversary run. On top of another “Neon” Air Max 95 retro in April, the next few months will see additional releases featuring OG-inspired tooling. We recently spilled ink on a “Pink Foam” big bubble Air Max 95, and we’re now learning that the beloved “Bright Mandarin” colorway is getting the same treatment.
The “Bright Mandarin” Air Max 95 will return in full family sizing, but the adult version has yet to surface via official images. While PS and TD versions (pictured below) don’t have big bubble Air units, the adult version will features the same larger, seamed cushioning spotted on this year’s “Neon” retro.
The “Bright Mandarin” 95s released in 2011 as part of an OG-inspired colorway series featuring the iconic gradient scheme. Simply put, original “Neon” accents are replaced by orange hits on the eyelets, tongue, mini Swoosh, and Air units. Where there’s smoke there’s fire, so we wouldn’t be surprised if Nike plans to bring back other plug-and-play colorways from that memorable 15th anniversary run.
No concrete release date for the “Bright Mandarin” 95s has been announced yet, but word on the street is that full family sizes are landing in April. Our Sneaker Release Dates page will be kept current as we learn more over the coming weeks.
