For Air Max Day 2025, it’s looking like a two-pronged approach. On one hand, you’ve got the Air Max DN8, a follow-up to 2024’s spotlighted model and one that continues pushing the boundaries of how tech informs comfort; an everlasting North Star for the line that Tinker Hatfield began. On the other, you’ve got the Nike Air Max Muse, looking at the sub-brand through a modern lens and recognizing how they’ve become streetwear icons. While at the time of writing, the brand’s Air Max Day plans are still a bit up in the air, colorways like the Nike Air Max Muse “Alabaster” will unquestionably play a role.
The all-new proposition has fallen into two buckets so far in its run, either neutral tonal looks or Y2K-facing metallic ones. The Air Max Muse look at hand splits the difference between the two, coated in sunshine yellow throughout most of its real estate, including on reflective, chromed-out overlays that weave across the profile. The final flourish in driving home that metallic undertone is the quicksilver mini Swoosh at the quarter, a sleek counterbalance to the flat mesh it lies on top of.
Select overseas outlets have listed the Nike Air Max Muse “Alabaster” for a March 20th release, but it’s unclear whether those particulars will hold when this pair comes stateside. Whenever it does, be prepared for the women’s-only sizing and $160 it’s carried so far.
