The Jordan Legacy 312 has had an interesting life, first introduced with a Don C cosign that echoed the Spike Lee-assisted Spizike from more than a decade prior. Since its original run on shelves, the model has earned the rare distinction of a shoe whose proper build has been lapped in quantity by a re-cut, usurped in quantity by its low-cut takedown. Whether it’ll capture the same reimagined success of a silhouette like the Jordan Spizike Low remains an open question, but the Jumpman continues trying to push the button with the Legacy 312 Low “Rattan” at hand.
Much of the Jordan Legacy 312 Low history has been defined by heritage looks, or outfits influenced by previously successful colorways from other models. Here, making a one-to-one comparison to another retro style is difficult, especially given the unconventional blocking at play. A jet black foundation is contrasted starkly by a pure white midfoot strap and earthy anchoring on the collar and mudguard. Even if it can’t spin off the (ahem) legacy of already-known pairs, this edition is set up well for lifestyle wear, which is after all, the continuing mission of the model at large.
As promised in our title, the Jordan Legacy 312 Low “Rattan” is expected to hit shelves for the Summer 2025 shopping season. If previous pricing holds, retail will remain set at $145.
