The Reebok Engine A Goes Otherworldly In “Solar Lime”

The next step for Reebok's new tentpole.

The Reebok Engine A Goes Otherworldly In “Solar Lime”

There’s arguably no bigger current plotline for Reebok than starting up their Basketball division (RBK.B) with its first new model in over a decade. After a splashy introduction with the help of their current tentpole signature athlete, Angel Reese, the model continues to rev up debut looks with the Reebok Engine A “Solar Lime.”

Speaking of the Chicago Sky standout, this colorway casts into further light the original viridescent outfit from the shoe’s on-court debut. Now revealing the shoe in full, Reebok lets loose that an all-day grind was the guiding light for this neon arrangement, borrowing shades from “the electric colors of twilight zone” and concepts of “night vision.” It’s a particular attention-grabbing look given the heritage inspiration of the Mobius line that continues to light the way for the Reebok Engine A, shuffling in as a modern interpretation of the iconic Shaqnosis, Kamikaze and their peers. Finally, in terms of tooling, expect the same combination of the brand’s trademark ERS system (visible with the four sequential circles in the midsole) and SuperFloat foam.

The Reebok Engine A “Solar Lime” releases on March 28th via Reebok.com, retailing at $120. Check out official campaign shots below and watch our Sneaker Release Dates page for direct pick-up links upon arrival.
