Cameron Brink Debuts The New Balance Hoops “NB Academy” Collection

Cameron Brink Debuts The New Balance Hoops “NB Academy” Collection

Most of our coverage on New Balance centers on their lifestyle offerings, but you can’t sleep on their expansion into other verticals. Arguably their biggest bet comes with their step into basketball, enlisting the likes of Jamal Murray, Kawhi Leonard and rising star Cameron Brink in their foray into hoops. The New Balance Hesi Low v2 is part and parcel of that effort, now unveiled as part of the “NB Academy.”

The LA Sparks phenom shines at the center of the collection, herself sporting the Hesi Low v2 in this all “Electric Sky” arrangement.  Pops of “Light Chrome Blue” peeking through the FuelCell midsole and pure white on some of the branding notes add some closing flourishes. Though the hoops silhouette is the main draw for our purposes, the “vintage spirit, modern design” capsule extends into a range of clothing that comes alongside, including pinstriped basketball shorts and a track set in fitting throwback color-blocking.

The New Balance Hesi Low v2 “NB Academy” is available now via the NB site, retailing for $110. Catch direct links for that pair via the “Where To Buy” widget embedded below. You can check out the apparel offerings via NB’s new arrivals section HERE.
