Oregon and Nike’s Ducks Of A Feather program is ready for their next launch; with Air Max Month in the midst, they’ve turned their attention to a hybrid model of two icons that has its roots from decades prior.
This next release is a throwback to the sole-swap frenzy kickstarted by Sean Wotherspoon’s Air Max 97/1 of 2018; eventually, we saw cross-hybridization of a number of models like the Air Max 97 matched with the BW by Skepta, the Air Max 90 stitched to a 95 sole by Patta, and several other in-line takes that have since gone dormant.
This specific pairing of the Air Max 97 with the 95 bottoms calls back to the GS-exclusive release of the 97 model during its original run; instead of engineering the full-length Air into smaller sizing, Nike chose to attach the Air Max 95 sole instead. It did the same with the following Air Max 98.

For the upcoming Air Max Day festivities, Division St. has prepared three distinct styles under the “Nature Reimagined” concept. delivering a Lightning, Thunder, and Storm colorway. The collection will drop on a staggered schedule at unique locations across the globe.

The “Lightning” edition features a light grey upper; this will be available via raffle beginning March 15th with pick-ups available beginning March 21st. It will also be available on the GOAT app in the Asia-Pacific region beginning March 24th.

The “Thunder” colorway features a green and gold color shift synthetic and yellow glow-in-the-dark airbags in the sole. These will be available on March 21 on the GOAT app in the Europe, Middle East and Africa region.

The “Storm” colorway features a gold and green/gold shift synthetic. These will be available at Flight Club locations in Los Angeles, New York and Miami on March 22, and on the GOAT app globally on March 26.
