Chunky, trendy, and wonderfully maximalist, the New Balance 9060 is demonstrating its range through new pastel colorways ahead of the warmer months. Next up for the inescapable 99X series mashup is a “Mineral/Grey Matter” colorway, shown here via official images.

Soft colors are married with soft materials, led by grey and light green suede paneling atop the base. Wide mesh makes for a breathable springtime wear underneath, complemented by light tan leather around the toe box, quarter, and heel. Underfoot, five different colors touch up the bulbous, stability shoe-inspired sole unit. All things considered, we’re getting a Joe Freshgoods “Performance Art” sort of feel from the pastel color palette at play.
