With March Madness set to tip off in a couple weeks, Nike is shipping out player edition Kobe Bryant shoes that align with the brand’s larger release strategy for 2025. The Nike Kobe 9 is poised to get plenty shine this year, led by “Moonwalker” and “Beethoven” Protros alongside “Team Bank” colorways of the EM version. With all that in place, the Beaverton brand has given the Duke Blue Devils a special Kobe 9 EM ahead of their playoff run.
Shown here via images posted by @dukewbb, the “Duke” Kobe 9 PE features a white mesh base, black outsole, and blue accents on the Swoosh, midsole, tongue, and visible Flywire cables. The Black Mamba logo appears on the right tongue, while the left features the school’s “D” lettering.
These won’t see a public release, but you’ll be able to spot ’em on-court as the Duke women’s basketball team fights for its first NCAA Championship. See detailed images below and tap our Sneaker Release Dates page to preview upcoming Kobes.
