Update: Shortly after publishing this article, additional images of the Nike Air Flightposite “Baroque Brown” surfaced, shedding light on the royal blue hits that contrast from the earthy palette elsewhere on the shoe. A release is still expected for Holiday 2025. Catch the new shots below and read our complete original coverage further down.

Nike’s embrace of the Y2K aesthetic isn’t limited to the tech runner space. By reviving 1999’s Nike Air Flightposite, Beaverton has tapped into one of their more totemic heritage styles in basketball, unleashing a rare retro for the model that’s set to continue throughout 2025. Will the “Baroque Brown” Nike Air Flightposite be a part of that plan? First looks at a new colorway have just landed, potentially charting the next steps for the tanky silo.
Perhaps the only comparison point for this shoe is the “Baroque Brown” Total Air Foamposite Max, a shoe itself connected to the only Foamposite One that comes to mind, the unreleased “Chocolate” sample presumably minted around the same era (the pair first surfaced in 2006). Where those colorways each utilized lighter contrast trim, this shoe keeps things to an entirely two-tone arrangement, the zipped closure and sole unit underfoot each anchor the titularly tinted hardware between.
The Nike Air Flightposite “Baroque Brown” is expected to hit the shelves for Holiday 2025, retailing for $140. Keep our Sneaker Release Dates page close by for further updates as they come.
