If you’re a fan of the deconstructed sneaker aesthetic popularized by Virgil Abloh, the New Balance 1906A is for you. One of several offshoots within the 1906 tech runner series, the model stands out with pre-cut paneling, an altered toe box, and exposed ribboning around the quarter to name a few highlights. It’s got a “Protection Pack” sort of vibe to it, and much like NB sneakers under that design theme, the 1906A has been met with considerable demand since debuting in 2024. Every colorway has sold out fairly quickly, and this “Inkwell” edition will likely be no exception.
The “Inkwell” 1906A features a white mesh base and a balanced mix of grey, blue, and purple overlays. A dark maroon heel counter breaks slightly from the rest of the palette, while a pre-dirtied “Sea Salt” midsole clashes futuristic and vintage aesthetics underfoot.
Again; the New Balance 1906A “Inkwell” releases March 5th for a retail price of $170. Scroll back up to our “Where To Buy” section for purchase links.
