The New Balance 2002R is prepping warm weather with a variety of suede-heavy options for Spring 2025. Joining “Passion Fruit” and “Green Apple” colorways in that department is this neo-vintage green style, shown here via official images.

The gallery below reveals wider-than-usual mesh across the base, with grey leather underlays appearing one layer up around the forefoot. White leather makes brief appearances on the backtab, toe box, and quarter “N” logos, while green suede paneling wraps the rest of the build. A pre-yellowed midsole fuels a neo-vintage aesthetic underfoot, matching the mesh base and laces, while the ABZORB cushioning section alternates between green and light grey.

While the New Balance 2002R might currently be overshadowed by cuts like the 9060 and 1906R, there’s no denying that these are plenty clean.
