Quench Your Sneaker Thirst With The New Balance 2002R “Sprite”

Dropping this Spring/Summer 2025.

Quench Your Sneaker Thirst With The New Balance 2002R “Sprite”

Since its unleashing in mid-late 2020, the New Balance 2002R has taken the casual comfort scene by absolute storm. Combining the timeless design of the 2002 model with the lower-half of the 860v2, New Balance has concocted an all-time hit-and it’s only getting started.

At one point the center of the brand’s collaborative efforts, New Balance has found a sweet spot for the 2002R. It’s still a go-to selection for those looking for the retro runner, 2000s era aesthetic, and with the Boston brand’s proven achievements in comfort, they’ve perfect this formula that other brands are looking to replicate.

It all comes down to colorways, and this late Spring season, the NB color team pours out a new colorway reminiscent of the classic Sprite can design that ran rampantfrom the mid-1990s and into the earlier part of the new millennium. Hits of Green Apple and Limelight join a royal blue, while a soothing Grey Matter acts as the primary base for this stylish GR.

Look towards your local New Balance retailer to find a pair for $145; these will be available on newbalance.com online soon enough.
