It wasn’t all too long ago when every major Jumpman release came with run-off product alongside it, either color-coordinated apparel or, in the case of significant enough drops, the same look on a different model. While we’ll likely never reach the levels seen during the 2010s, Beaverton is tapping into that formula once more, as the Jordan Heir borrows the “Abundance” colorway from the Air Jordan 4.
Borrowing the same color scheme of “Seafoam,” “Sail,” and “Metallic Silver,” the unisex hoops model does inject some new energy into the layout towards its laces. At the lace collar, a blue fractal pattern peers out, carrying some resemblance to the trim on US currency. Official Jordan Brand marketing materials have heavily referred to the “off-the-court grind,” so perhaps this provides the final proof in tying this colorway to “Abundance” in the literal sense.
The Jordan Heir “Abundance” drops on March 8th, the same day as the AJ4 referenced throughout this piece, carrying a retail price of $110. Keep an eye on our Jordan Release Dates hub for direct links upon release.
