Sneaker News The raffle for the Union Jordan 1 has officially closed. Union has sent out emails to those who have entered the raffle. According to a since-deleted tweet by the @nikestore account on X, the shoes are expected to release again in March. More recently, they’ve pulled back their statement, stating “Got ahead of ourselves on this. No details to share on the Union x AJ1 at this time.” Currently, official Nike release documents show just the apparel dropping on March 18th.
Despite the month of February being packed with a number of heavy-hitting drops, Chris Gibbs’ Union LA Jordan 1 is amounting to the best release of the month. Revisiting his 2018 Air Jordan 1 collaboration, Gibbs mixed and matched the iconic “Chicago” and the “Shadow” to form a breathtaking third iteration of the concept. The launch for the apparel is now open at www.unionjordan2025.com. The raffle for the footwear is now LIVE HERE.
According to the Union FAQ pages, the shoes are releasing via a RAFFLE. Here are the official details:
AFTER WINNERS ARE DRAWN, THEY WILL RECEIVE AN EMAIL FROM rsvp@unionlosangeles.com WITH A LINK TO COMPLETE A CHECKOUT FOR 1 PAIR IN THE SIZE THEY SIGNED UP. THE EMAIL DOES NOT GUARANTEE PURCHASE AS THE CUSTOMER NEEDS TO COMPLETE CHECKOUT AND ENTER PAYMENT DETAILS TO CONFIRM THEIR ORDER.
WINNERS WILL HAVE 3 HOURS TO COMPLETE THEIR PURCHASE. AFTER 3 HOURS FROM RECEIVING THE INVOICE, THE INVOICE WILL BE VOIDED.
As we learned in our interview with Chris, the “Chicago/Shadow” colorway was among the many different combinations he came up with when he first created the idea over seven years ago. The recently revealed “UNC/Royal” pair that was on display was intended to release as well due to Union’s preference for dropping two shoes at a time. However, the Chicago/Shadow edition will touch down as a solo act exclusively through Union. A SNKRS release is expected mid-March.
In addition to the sneakers, Union LA and Jordan Brand have crafted a small capsule of apparel to accompany the drop.
