The “NAI-KE” Series Continues On The Nike Air Flight 89 Low

Potentially exclusive to China.

The “NAI-KE” Series Continues On The Nike Air Flight 89 Low

Nike is celebrating its longstanding presence in China by reprising its “NAI-KE” series. Aside from recent Footscape Wovens, the “NAI-KE” design theme almost exclusively falls on models born in the 1980s; the decade Nike first entered the Chinese market. We’ve gotten myriad “NAI-KE” Air Force 1s over the years, but the Beaverton brand is now bringing another model into the fray for the very first time. The Air Flight 89 Low “NAI-KE” has emerged via official images.

The sister model to the Air Jordan 4, the Air Flight 89 Low “NAI-KE” is anchored by a tonal palette of white, brown, and khaki shades. Headlining qualities include mesh treatments around the collar, tongue, and lining, and blue, collegiate-style “NIKE” stitching over the heel. Chinese characters appear on the insoles, and metallic silver, basketball-inspired lace dubraes are also included. Underfoot, the front portion of the outsole opts for semi-clear tread.

The Air Flight 89 Low “NAI-KE” doesn’t have a firm release date yet, but it’s possible that the shoe will be exclusive to China. In any case, know that this page as well as our Sneaker Release Dates hub will update with any and all incoming information.
