In the wake of more strong GRs and collaborations, the New Balance 1000 is continuing its run with a set of Foot Locker-exclusive styles.
While not as prevalent as the New Balance 9060 or other shelf staples like the 1906R and 2002R, the New Balance 1000 has potential to reach that same level of popularity. We can point to compelling colorways and strong collabs by names likes Joe Freshgoods, but objectively; the New Balance 1000 was handily one of the most searched new models (or in this case, re-introduced) of 2024. New Balance has already been farming that web traffic into dollars, and that will only scale up as the model gets even more air under its wings.

The two Foot Locker exclusives bolster the model’s already strong portfolio, both of which stand out with ripstop nylon uppers. First up is a spring-worthy “Peach Blossom” colorway for women, taken with subtle yellow accents atop a neutral backdrop of “Mineral/Sea Salt/Angora.” On the other hand we have multicolor “Navy/Dusk Shower/Pearl Grey/Sunfade Pink” edition that we previously compared to Auburn University colors, which will be available in both men’s and grade school sizing.
Both Foot Locker exclusive New Balance 1000s release in-store and online on February 20th, with adult sizes carrying the usual $150 shelf price. Take advantage of the purchase links in our “Where To Buy” sections if you’re considering copping on that date.
