The Kobe release at hand has been an object of fascination for nearly a year, a leak/info cycle that speaks to the coveted status Bryant’s sneaker line has now achieved. Vanessa Bryant made those early reports concrete by sporting an early sample of the Nike Kobe 6 “Sail,” revealed a few months later to be the pair at hand.
On top of a tonal all-over cream layout, the shoe’s main selling point is how it transforms the trademark upper of the shoe. Eschewing the scaly protrusions, instead the “All-Star” concept literally manifests on the Kobe 6 Protro by venturing from five-pointed stars at the foot entrance into diamonds at the forefoot.
Alongside the shoe, a range of Kobe-themed apparel will be hitting SNKRS, with each largely formulated to match with the off-white and black colorway. Tear-away pants, pleated pants, a long-sleeve crop, a girls’ pleated dress, and two “Mamba Out” Kobe Baseball jerseys make up the apparel collection.
