Though third to his basketball and baseball careers, Michael Jordan’s golf game holds genuine influence over the current Jumpman catalog, a venue that still showcase Mike’s incredibly fiery competitive spirit. As cleated versions further spread their wings throughout the archive, the Air Jordan 14 is shaping up as a major point of emphasis, only continued with news of the Air Jordan 14 “Last Shot” emerged for a Golf variation.
As one of the more iconic shoes in MJ’s on-court legacy, we likely don’t need to break down the color-blocking on tap here. Though mock-ups are typically unreliable, the preliminary images here should largely reflect what we’ll see towards the end of the year — official images of the Jordan 14 “Oxidized Green” convey the exact tooling utilized on this reimagined model.
Tracing back in the Jumpman’s golf initiatives, seemingly each year one model gets a heavy push on the green. Adding this shoe to the aforementioned viridescent pair adds credence to the theory that the AJ14 will receive that treatment. For 2022, it was the Air Jordan 12, before the Jordan 6 and Jordan 9 took the spotlight in the years following. Alongside a heavy crop of inline drops, each of those initiatives culminated in a collaboration; Eastside Golf earned two of those honors before Happy Life Wood took over the AJ9 in 2024.
