The New Balance 2002R Prowls In Cheetah Prints

The wire between New Balance and French retailer Courir has been busy as of late, with the Boston sneaker giant shipping off store-exclusive colorways of the New Balance 9060, New Balance 1906R, and New Balance 2002R in recent months. While not a collaboration, this newly-released “Cheetah” 2002R fits naturally within France’s fashion legacy.

Official images reveal black and tan “Cheetah” print on all the overlays, which are actually comprised of leather as opposed to faux fur. Different shades of tan lands on the mesh, suede, and leather underlays, and subtle yet impactful red hits appear on the toe box, midsole, and heel. If demand is comparable to the recent Cheetah adidas Samba pack, don’t expect these to sit around for long. Women’s sizes are available now via courir.com.

Sticking with Boston brand, the Joe Freshgoods New Balance 992 “Aged Well” releases February 20th.
