Jordan Brand Enters The Comfort Era With Air Jordan 1 Inspired Walking Shoe

All eyes are on the Air Jordan 1 as Jordan Brand is celebrating the 40th Anniversary of the iconic silhouette with an all-out marketing push. The original Air Jordan has its DNA all over the Jumpman, even influencing modern day footwear design that isn’t even intended for basketball. Enter the all-new Jordan CMFT Era, a new silhouette that focuses on everyday comfort and the importance of proper day-to-day walking shoes.

The CMFT Era is a new low-top silhouette that leverages the DNA of both the Air Jordan 1 and the Air Jordan 6. Based on this diagram that is plastered inside the shoe-box of this new silhouette, the CMFT Era features the mid-foot of the 1985 model while the 1991 silo inputs its signature details via the fore-foot design, the protruding ankles, and the Nike branding on the heel.

Jordan Cmft Era

As mentioned earlier, the Jordan CMFT Era is made exactly for what it’s named: Comfort. It’s got that day-to-day appeal without the bulk and heft of the leathers typically seen in Jordan Retro footwear. It’s got some similar design elements to the Jordan Stadium 90, although the CMFT Era clearly features a much more low-profile aesthetic.

This all-new silhouette from Jordan is set to launch this Spring/Summer 2025 season for $115; see the official images and get in tune with our Jordan Release Dates page for the latest info on availability.
