Nike And Converse Team Up To Honor Devin Booker’s All-Time Scoring Mark

Devin's Book 1 meets Walter Davis' Startech Mid.

Nike And Converse Team Up To Honor Devin Booker’s All-Time Scoring Mark

On the night of February 4th, Devin Booker entered himself into the history books by becoming the Phoenix Suns’ all-time leading scorer, surpassing Walter Davis’ previous mark of 15,666 points. Nike remembers this milestone moment with a special Book 1 “ALTS” PE that pays respect to both legends, combining the Book 1 silhouette with the Converse Startech Mid.

While the silhouette remains true to the Book 1 design, it’s actually Walter Davis’ PE that leads the charge with the details. The Startech Mid seen below features a white leather upper with a grey suede toe-cap and blue leather on the heel as well as inside the chevron star cut-out logo.

The Book 1 transfers those design cues by adding a grey suede toe-guard, navy blue ankle collars, a miniature woosh logo, and a PE-style call-out to both Devin and Walter while noting their individual scoring marks. This rare crossover between Nike and Converse is also seen in the brand text that appears on both heels.

Together, Nike and Converse gifted Devin a pair on the night he broke the record; today, the brands offer a closer look at this awesome PE.

Although Devin is a Nike athlete, he has released collaborative footwear with Converse in the past, such as this Chuck 70 from April 2023.
