Sneaker News The NBA All-Star Game may draw the game’s biggest current stars, but it will always be Kobe Bryant’s stage to call his own. The top performer of this mid-season exhibition will receive the NBA All-Star Game Kobe Bryant Most Valuable Player Award, a tradition that first began in 2020 just weeks after his tragic death.
Kobe footwear releases are a fixture in February, and this month will see not one, but two outstanding drops from the Kobe Brand. Alongwith the Kobe 9 “Masterpiece” hitting stores on February 8th, Nike will drop the Kobe 6 Protro “All-Star 2.0” on February 13th to kick off the weekend.
This is the first time Nike modified the snakeskin TPU exterior, changing the scaly appearance to a new starry pattern that stretches out at the forefoot. Leaving this design choice as the centerpiece, Nike appoints a clean Sail shade across the entirety of the shoe with black on the Swoosh logo and sheath emblem on the tongue.
