Jerry Lorenzo’s Fear Of God Athletics Trainer Just Dropped In “Sesame”

There’s been some long wait times in the adidas x Jerry Lorenzo Fear of God Athletics timeline, both to get off the ground in the first place and then for additional models to come out of the pipeline. However, based off of interviews with Lorenzo himself, the current chapter appears to be exactly where the designer wants his line to be, highlighted by the Fear of God Athletics Trainer that just delivered its second colorway.

Following the “Night Brown/Sesame” edition that introduced the silhouette to the public, here the same split-toe color-blocking persists, but it’s a shift back to the earth-toned home base of Lorenzo’s work with adidas. Slightly lighter “Chestnut” tonality takes over the forefoot, with textured “Sesame” suede overtaking the back half of the shoe. In a carryover from models like the Basketball 1, a semi-translucent outsole grounds the shoe underfoot, finished with off-kilter detailing like the oversized midfoot strap and braided heel counter remain central points of intrigue.

As mentioned above, the Fear of God Athletics Trainer “Sesame” is available now via the Fear Of God site for $250, but only select sizes remain. Scroll just ahead for direct “Where To Buy” links to check for your size — an adidas CONFIRMED drop is likely not too far off if you need a second chance.
