With the NBA trade deadline of February 6th on the horizon, Zion Williamson is a name to look out for. Now that the former #1 overall pick is back from yet another injury, many basketball insiders are expecting the Pelicans to shop him to contenders and therefore open up cap space for a rebuild. For our purposes, February 6th also marks the debut date of the Jordan Zion 4. A handful of colorways are on tap for that date, including this “Mud To Marble” edition.
Official images reveal split blocking between the upper and lower halves, with the latter favoring “Mint Foam” blue. Hoopers obviously haven’t been able to report on performance yet, but everything about the Zion 4 sounds very promising. It’s got a Cushlon 3.0 drop-in midsole and full-length parabolic Air Zoom strobel, similar to the GT Cut 2, and it appears Jordan Brand has improved its traction. When it comes to design, the shoe sleekens up with curved lines across a mesh, leather, and synthetic upper. The “Mud To Marble” name behind this colorway continues storytelling that’s been in place from the very beginning, echoing that Zion made it “out of the mud” to get to the NBA.
The Zion 4 “Mud To Marble” releases February 6th, 2025 for $140 alongside a handful of additional rollout colorways. See official images below and tap our Jordan Release Dates page for more.
