2025 has the potential to be a huge year for “Made In USA” New Balance shoes. The New Balance 992 is returning, Teddy Santis will spearhead new curated collections, and collaborations with names like JJJJound, Joe Freshgoods, and Action Bronson will stir up a good amount of buzz over the course of the next twelve months. While we wait on release info for the next Action Bronson New Balance 990v6, the Boston brand is holding us over with a spring-worthy “Salmon” general release.
Pink sneakers aren’t for everyone, but there’s no denying that these are plenty clean. Salmon-colored mesh gives way to a more pale shade on the leather forefoot underlays, with the eyelets panels and suede mudguard portion returning to the Salmon hue. The New Balance logos, lining, heel, and upper eyestay masterfully complement the pink treatments in light orange, and subtle purple hits appear on the heel, tongue, and insoles. It would be nice to see the same pink/orange palette make its way onto the midsole, but alas, New Balance opts for standard white, grey, and black treatments underfoot.
The “Salmon” New Balance 990v6 retails for $200 and will be available via newbalance.com and retailers during the Spring 2025 shopping season. We’ll update our Sneaker Release Dates page and send out a post on X once pairs start cropping up.
