Tonal Treatments Take Over The Nike Air Pegasus Wave “Flat Silver”

Will Nike find a hit with the reimagined silhouette?

Tonal Treatments Take Over The Nike Air Pegasus Wave “Flat Silver”

There’s a lot of competition for model we’ve seen the most so far in 2025; the Air Max 90 and New Balance 1000 each have made plenty of appearances, but the Air Pegasus Wave can’t be far behind. After a metered cadence following its initial 2024 arrival, new looks for the shoe have come fast and furious, no doubt evidence of a renewed push by Nike to land a(nother) tech runner smash.

The “Flat Silver” edition featured here aligns with that motive as well, clad in the defining hue seen across the throwback sneaker vertical. Draping the quarter cage in steely fashion, the rest of the shoe does well to adapt it in complementary fashion, with off-white leather panels and plush mesh underpinnings each taking on their own tintless “Vast Grey” and “Metallic Silver.” Certainly some of the gradientheavy looks that have hit the newswire so far in January are more eye-catching, but the renewed sense of energy around the model still persists for this easily-worn edition.

The Nike Air Pegasus Wave “Flat Silver” is queued up for a February 1st release date, retailing for $150 upon arrival.
