The Nike Air Max Muse “Light Bone” Comes With Subtle Distressing

The women’s Air Max Muse is ready to cement a spot in the Nike catalog in 2025. After debuting in late 2024 by way of a “Metallic Silver” colorway, we’re continuing to get first looks at other styles that will support the model’s rollout this spring. This “Light Bone” colorway has potential to be a crowd-pleaser, offering a versatile color palette and subtle intrigue by way of distressed detailing.

Zooming in reveals the design’s key feature; the leather “Light Bone” exterior features discolored areas around the heel and sole, lending a tasteful, almost invisible pre-aged aesthetic. The distressing is far too minor to justify calling it a “pattern,” but notably, we also uncovered a more experimental “Cave Stone” colorway releasing Spring 2025.

Steering back to the release at hand, Nike includes “Metallic Silver” mini Swooshes and “Phantom” paint on the heel portion of the midsole; the only break from an otherwise monotone colorway.
