Lorenz.og Brings His Patented Color Schemes To Custom New Balance 860v2s

The work of customs artist and designer Lorenzo G Federici, more widely known by his Instagram handle @lorenz.og, already caught the attention of some of the industry’s most notable well before he earned any official collaborations. Enlisted by the likes of Lil Yachty, Drake’s NOCTA label and Virgil Abloh for bespoke, dusky editions of models from across the footwear world, the British artist finally broke through in an official capacity via his Salomon ACS+ collab in 2023. Only continuing to rise in profile in the time since, it was only a matter of time before he’d make another splash, now arriving with a new capsule centered around the New Balance 860v2.

For the uninitiated, the “dusk to dawn” ombre is the lorenz.og calling card, a staple of sneaker moodboards and art exhibits alike. Produced as individual customs, the silver leather overlays and monochromatic underfoot section make it easy to imagine how these came about as a dye-job applied on a mainline GR. Easily the standout twist on this edition, however, is the alternating colorways, beginning in opposite “times of day” on the toe-box of each shoe.

Across his social channels, Lorenzo G has promised a January 18th release date for this New Balance 860v2 bespoke capsule. However, it’ll only be available if you procure a “Golden Ticket,” distributed through a pop-up location he’ll announce on Instagram. Additionally, Footpatrol is giving away two guaranteed tickets via an IG giveaway. Retail across all of these channels is set at €250 ($258 USD equivalent.)
