Matt Varga Don’t just take our word for it — the numbers back up that Travis Scott is one of Nike’s steadiest commodities. After another year rife with major Jordan collaborations and the debut of his first signature model, we’ve been tracking the earnest debut of his Zoom Field Jaxx as one of the first significant markers in ’25, getting a general release after a limited shock drop of its “Sail” colorway in 2024. However, we’ve got bad new for those looking forward to this release: the arrival of the Zoom Field Jaxx “Light Chocolate” has been bumped from its initial January 17th date to sometime in February.
Unfortunately, Travis Scott shoes are prone to these sorts of fits and starts. Most recently, the Jordan Jumpman Jack “Mocha” was bumped a few weeks, but his “Medium Olive” Air Jordan 1 Low was also pushed from its initial date earlier in its release process. In either case, La Flame didn’t feel any adverse effects; both shoes were instant sell-outs and still command well beyond their retail price on the grey market, a claim that’s becoming harder and harder to come by in 2025’s sneaker world.
All that said, fans will assuredly still come out in droves for the Nike Zoom Field Jaxx “Light Chocolate” whenever this pair comes about. As of this writing, retailers overseas have reported a January 31st, 2025 release date; US retailers have yet to confirm a date. Retail remains at $170.
