Nike Shox have a strong ambassador in Kendrick Lamar, but can they win over the general population? Some love them, some hate them, but regardless of your opinion, it appears that models like the Shox TL and Shox R4 will both be recurring guests on our newswire throughout 2025. The former model just surfaced in a black and “Lyon Blue” colorway, show here via official retailer images.

Eyes are first drawn to the base, where Nike adds an all-new oval pattern to the lateral and medial sides. The sidewalls gradually move from titular “Lyon Blue” to black as you approach the heel, paving a seamless transition into all-black treatments across the heel and Shox pillars underfoot. Capping off the delivery with a dash of contrast, Nike brings “Varsity Maize” hits to the Swoosh logos and Shox branding on the tongue and heel.

The Shox TL “Black/Varsity Maize/Metallic Silver/Lyon Blue” retails for $190 and is expected to touch down shortly in men’s sizing. See official retailer images below if you’re considering trying out a pair.
