After Kanye West’s Rant, adidas Removes All Mentions Of Yeezy From Its Websites

The worst divorce in sneaker history continued into 2025 as Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, continued his decry of adidas for what he alleges are tactics to hold him back from moving on with his independent Yeezy brand.

On January 7th, Ye took to Instagram to point out how the top Google search results of “Yeezy.com” is the adidas website, which West views as the German sportswear brand’s intent of blocking his progress.

When you google Yeezy.com the adidas site comes before the Yeezy site Members at adidas Stop doing this Stop doing your moves to hold me back Our partnership is done You’re a 60 billion dollar company that froze my accounts Now I’m back on my feet (no pun intended) and I’m not going to stand for this (no pun again)…

In response, the term “Yeezy” has been wiped completely from adidas.com and the adidas News homepage. When searching “Yeezy ” on adidas.com, it automatically redirects to the Originals landing page. On the adidas News site, searching “Kanye West” or “Yeezy” fields zero results.

It is likely that adidas Yeezy restocks will not be happening in 2025.
