The Nike Air Max Sunder Continues Its Run Of Gradients With “Light Army/Pinksicle”

An all-new look for the 1999 cult classic.

The Nike Air Max Sunder Continues Its Run Of Gradients With “Light Army/Pinksicle”

The Nike Air Max Sunder has been checking off a lot of boxes throughout its modern retro run. On top of original colorways like the “Canyon Gold,” the 1999 cult classic was the subject of a 2024 collaboration of the year contender by Kids Of Immigrants and will soon play a role in Nike’s annual Doernbecher Freestyle collection.

As far as inline releases go, the Sunder is approaching Spring 2025 with a handful of all-new gradient looks. This latest colorway fades from “Pinksicle” to “Baroque Brown” as you move backwards across the base, contrasted by “Light Army” on the mudguard, lining, sipper, and outsole for a slight watermelon-esque aesthetic. More “Pinksicle” hits appear on the Air units, while the model’s unequivocally unique outsole balances between the titular green and pink hues.

The Air Max Sunder “Light Army/Pinksicle” is touted in extended women’s sizing and will release during the Spring 2025 shopping season for $180. See official retailer images below if you’re considering picking up a pair.
