First Look At The Nike Air Max Plus “Eclair”

The thunderous look returns to shelves for 2025.

First Look At The Nike Air Max Plus “Eclair”

Nike’s Air Max strategy is clearly retro-focused, an agenda illustrated by their announcement of the OG Air Max 95 “Neon” as a part of the SNKRS Holiday showcase. While its original colorways may not have the cultural purchase of that hi-vis look, the Nike Air Max Plus is getting in on that action as well, as first-look images of the Air Max Plus “Eclair (Lightning)” confirm a beloved bring-back for 2025.

Undoubtedly returning due to the silhouette’s 25th anniversary, it appears in these shots that it’s a 1-to-1 replication of the 2000 pair. While an A-B comparison may cast this shoe in more vivid light given the original’s sheer age, the graphic appears identical, as does the broody midfoot shank, translucent TPU waves, and the pearlized finish on the heel.

Not only will this offer a fresh chance to cop a piece of history, but it’ll also likely provide a first chance for select ‘heads to get a pair in their size — the OG run was restricted to women’s sizing, something that undoubtedly furthered the shoe’s legend and ensuing demand.

Expect the Nike Air Max Plus “Eclair” to release in Spring 2025, commanding a $180 retail price.
