Edison Chen and adidas Originals Debut Lunar New Year Collaboration With A Silk-Print Superstar

Edison Chen, CLOT, and adidas Originals unveil their first official Lunar New Year projects via the ripple-soled Superstar, bringing forth the iconic Silk Royale textile seen in earlier CLOT collaborations throughout history. Celebrating the Year Of The Snake, Chen’s imprint is set to release a full capsule of footwear and apparel ahead of the late-January occasion.

Unveiled via CLOT’s official Instagram, the adidas Superstar by Edison Chen features an all-black upper with Silk Royale textile, suede heel-tabs, snake-skin stripes, and gilded accents via the hash-marks on the upper. A co-branded label that features the timeless tre-foil and CLOT emblem sits on the tongue, while a familiar gold coin is attached to a red tassel hangtag.

Beneath the well-crafted upper is the rippled sole that debuted with Edison’s first collaborative sneaker release with adidas Originals in early 2024.

The shoes are set to release on adidas Confirmed on January 10th exclusively at Juice, and on January 16th on adidas Confirmed; MSRP is set at $200.
