Even taking into consideration how the Air Jordan 2 proper has never been the most popular retro model, the Jordan 2/3 has still arrived to a surprisingly quiet response. Pinning the beloved sole of the Air Jordan 3 onto the middle child model, at least for our money, brings a major facelift, and simplistic colorways like the “Earth” at hand allow the silhouette to lean into its refined construction even harder.

Famously, the Jordan 2 took the then-nascent line into luxury territory, clad in Italian leather and sporting a hiked-up retail price. While the 2/3 carries a retail price in familiar territory, still the elevated atmosphere is well-communicated via faux-vintage midsole tonality and deep brown trim, particularly striking on the woven sockliner. It’s impossible not to note the similarity in palette between this and the Air Jordan 5 “Earth,” these two releases possibly portending the brown hue as a Beaverton focal point in the early part of 2025.
The Air Jordan 2/3 is already up for grabs at a number of retailers, replicating a NBHD-esque release cadence it’s adopted a few times before. Retail is set at $160 — you can use the direct links under “Where To Buy” to pick up your pair.
Sticking with the Jordan Release Dates 2025 calendar, we’re continuing to prep for the Jordan 3 “Black Cat,” the first major Jumpman drop for the year.
