Steph Curry Celebrates The “Year Of The Snake” On The UA Curry 12

Stephen Curry’s first game of 2025 was one to remember. The three-point shooting GOAT went a perfect 8/8 from behind the arc against the Philadelphia 76ers, falling just one basket short of the NBA record for most made threes without a miss in a 139-105 Warriors win.

On-foot for the occasion was the UA Curry 12 “Year Of The Snake,” set to release exclusively in the Asia Pacific on January 9th. The holiday-themed colorway tributes the Chinese zodiac with a black snakeskin upper and a lenticular tongue that alternates between the Curry Brand Splash logo and Chinese characters reading “2025 Year Of The Snake.” A translucent heel counter gives way to a gold snakeskin pattern underneath, matched by black/gold laces and scattered gold flakes on the UA Flow portion of the midsole. Rounding out the delivery, the design alludes to traditional Lunar New Year festival garb with red treatments underfoot.

As mentioned, the UA Curry 12 “Year Of The Snake” will be available exclusively in the Asia Pacific (APAC) region on January 9th, 2025. It remains to be seen if there will be a global release, but know that this article as well as our Sneaker Release Dates page will display any and all updates as they come in.

Steering focus to another YOTS shoe, check out the “Eggplant” Kobe 5 Year Of The Mamba also releasing January 9th.
