The Nike Field General 82 Is Seeing Spots

After Nike’s slim-fitting retro sportswear shoes were introduced to the masses through collaborations with key movers like Union and Bode, the plan for the Field General ’82 was simple; infiltrate the low-profile trend and reap the benefits. However, the wave started by the adidas Samba hasn’t quite filtered over to Beaverton’s side of the things because this American football classic model hasn’t quite entered the matrix like it was intended to.

Still, Nike is making sure the Field general ’82 remains a mainstay on store shelves, and 2025 will see an emphasis on women’s releases. Revealed here is a yet another execution focusing on exotic materials like pony hair, with black spots on the phantom white fur creating that lux look. Much like the recently reviewed “Snakeskin” Pack, Nike is showing a bit of restraint with the animal patterns as the spotting appears just on the toe-guard, heel, and lace collar.

With the added detailing is a bump in price; these will run you $120 when they arrive on Nike.com and select retailers.
