Nike Kobe “Year Of The Mamba” Apparel Is Now Available

Updated January 9th, 2025: The Nike Kobe “Year Of The Mamba” apparel collection is available now on SNKRS and Sneaker Politics.

2025 marks the Year Of The Snake in the Chinese zodiac calendar. What an opportune time for Nike’s Kobe Brand to launch a spirited collection for Lunar New Year! They’re doing just that by joining the Kobe 5 Protro “Year Of The Mamba” with an apparel capsule that is currently slated to launch on January 9th, 2025.

Below is a first look at official images of the four different apparel pieces, which includes a long-sleeve t-shirts, crewneck, jogger pant, and a jacket. Kobe Lunar New Year Long-Sleeve Shirt

The long-sleeve t-shirt will be available in three colorways: black, white, and red. Each has an MSRP of $55 and features a snake draped in all five Kobe Bryant’s championship rings intertwined with the sheath logo.

Kobe Lunar New Year Crewneck

The crewneck will be available in two colors – Sail (pictured above) and black (pictures coming soon). The material features a basketball mesh-like exterior with the Kobe sheath logo on the chest an an embroidery of the snake climbing up both sleeves. The MSRP is set at $120.

Kobe Lunar New Year Jogger Pant

Next is the long pant; it features the Kobe sheath logo just underneath the left pocket (red logo on black, black logo on sail), while a full stripe of a Year Of The Snake pattern appears in gold. The black and sail pant will retail for $120 each.

Kobe Lunar New Year Jacket

Photos of the jacket have yet to surface; however, a black and sail colorway is expected with an MSRP of $275 each.
