With the calendar just about to turn over, there’s a number of initiatives that are of note in the early part of the year; Nike Valentine’s Day 2025, 2025 Jordan Releases, and of course, Nike Year of the Snake 2025. We’re now getting an official look at one of the central pieces of the latter, the Air Jordan 1 Low “Year of the Snake.”

While these images confirm the arrangement with saw in “first look” shots, it does cast into further light some of the special edition touches that define this release. Most evidently, a grid pattern halfway between ripstop and scales defines the tongue and Swoosh, a natural execution given the theme at play.

Additionally, the iridescent theme that defines other comparable releases like the Tatum 3 “Year of the Snake” appears with a marbled, half-distressed luminescent pattern across the overlays. For some final flourishes, an iridescent shoebox and black snakeskin hangtag arrive with the shoe, something we’re expected to crop up for the full YoTS slate as it itself comes into full view.

Expect the Air Jordan 1 Low “Year of the Snake” coming about in late January / early February with a $125 sticker price. You can catch the entire view of official images included below.
