Many of the shoe’s biggest draws remain in place, including mixed materials of suede, corduroy and satin, scaly embroidery on the vamp, and thick piping outlining the upper. However, the shoe’s narrative element comes clearer into view with these new angles, sporting an Old Western graphic on the insole that connects to a “modern cowboy” concept playing out via the shoe at large.
Expect the Nike SB Dunk Low “BHM” to land this February. Retail pricing is unconfirmed.

Original article published December 16th, 2025: 2025 will be a year jam-packed with anniversary celebrations for the Swoosh. On top of it being the 40th anniversary of the Air Jordan line, the Beaverton brand will celebrate a handful of other mini milestones throughout its next twelve-month campaign.
For our purposes, 2025 marks the 20 years since Nike released its first Black History Month collection, with the Swoosh touching down with annual BHM footwear and apparel every year since 2005. While basketball and lifestyle have been Nike’s main two Black History Month sneaker genres of choice in recent years, next February will see Nike revisit its skate division with the first BHM-inspired SB Dunk Low in nearly a decade.
While this first image set admittedly isn’t ideal for comprehensive analysis, Sneaker Files reports that the shoe is in fact tied to BHM and notes an official color palette of “Tourmaline/Baroque Brown-Monarch.” The green “Tourmaline” color utilized on the upper is named after East African gemstones, while “Baroque Brown” and “Monarch” are factored in on overlay piping as well as an intricate stitched pattern over the heel. As far as materials go, Nike opts for a suede upper, corduroy tongue, yellow satin lining, and thick rope laces. A leather tongue tag and script “NIKE” text on the backtab are also present, but it’s likely that official images will reveal some additional touches whenever they arrive.
The Nike SB Dunk Low “Tourmaline” is reported to be a quickstrike release, meaning it will be more limited that your average GR. A February 2025 release is expected, as is a $135 retail price. See first look images below and stick with us for updates over the coming months.
