One of the oddest trends in sneaker releases is the insistency of dropping holiday-themed shoes after the actual occasion. For years, Nike has dropped its Christmas shoes after the morning of the 25th, and that strategy sees no change with the upcoming LeBron 22 “Christmas” release.

This first look, shared by @jesuscare on Instagram, reveals the twenty-second signature shoe of the four-time champ donning a teal green upper, solar red accents, and light green touches on the outsole. While there are no outward yule-tide thematics injected into the design, the fuzzy white finish on the roped shoelaces definitely adds that wintry look.
